## About Us 🧠
Msingi AI is an African-focused AI research organization based in Nairobi, Kenya. We are dedicated to creating cutting-edge natural language processing (NLP) tools and fostering innovation tailored to the unique linguistic and cultural diversity of Africa.

Our primary focus is on:
- Developing **open-source NLP models** for African languages.
- Advancing AI research with novel architectures like **Kolmogorov-Arnold Networks (KANs)**.
- Building a collaborative community of researchers, developers, and innovators across the continent.

## Why Msingi AI Matters
Africa is home to over 2,000 languages, many of which are underrepresented in AI technologies. At Msingi AI, we aim to address this gap by:
