Wrong Licenses

Hi @Djrango , this a really cool exploration into the model!

However, please update the license for the FLUX-model: Since this is a derivative of the FLUX.1 [dev] model the FLUX.1 [dev] Non-Commercial License applies to it.

The next part is just my personal understanding, do with this what you want: I think you might also be in breach of the Qwen2-VL license (Apache 2.0). You should probably also indicate this license for the relevant parts.

Thanks for the understanding.

Interesting, but according to Flux.1 Dev license file:

For clarity, use for revenue-generating activity or direct interactions with or impacts on end users, or use to train, fine tune or distill other models for commercial use is not a Non-Commercial purpose.

I am wondering is this a case of "train, fine tune or distill other models for commercial use"? The model user release the checkpoints under MIT license, seems not a case of "training for commercial use". But I am not a professional of law, just want to check whether this model is free for commercial use.

i too am curious about the license issue, if this is using the shnell version or whatever its called then it should be fine, but if it really is the dev version, its essentially useless to me and many others

Thank you all for raising this important licensing concern. I have updated the model license to correctly reflect the Non-Commercial License inherited from FLUX.1 [dev]. As someone new to open-source model development, I initially overlooked these licensing implications and incorrectly set it as MIT - my sincere apologies for any confusion this may have caused.
@bingw5 Regarding your question: Since this model is directly derived from FLUX.1 [dev], it must inherit its Non-Commercial License restrictions regardless of my intended use. I understand this limits its utility for commercial applications, as @Utochi mentioned, but we must respect the original license terms.
I've updated the model card to clearly indicate:

The Non-Commercial License inherited from FLUX.1 [dev]
Attribution to both base models (FLUX.1 [dev] and Qwen2-VL)
Clear usage restrictions

Thank you for helping me maintain proper licensing practices.

thank you for updating this. if possible, i would love to see a version of this made specifically for FLUX schnell so as to allow this to be available for commercial usage. @Djrango

Thank you for updating it!
