Does it matter if the prompt is incomplete?

It seems that each .py file is complete in the repository-level completion demo, I am curious that when we use a smaller window size, the beginning and the tail of the input might be cut, will it affect the performance? Is "complete" important for the < begin_of_sentence > token?
