Complete newbie with questions about use for Android

I read about this model on Reddit today and was blown away by the quality of the "heart" voice! I have been waiting for years for a free TTS model I can use with ReadEra on my Android phone for ebook narration that doesn't sound artificial. The Kokoro Heart voice passes that threshold for my tastes.

The problem is that I am someone who doesn't know where to start. I have almost zero technical ability. I read how to use it but none of that makes sense to me. How difficult would it be for me to make this work on my Samsung S24 Ultra?

If that is too difficult or not possible, my PC is an i7-14700K, 128GB RAM, & 12GB GeForce RTX4070. I'd prefer to not be sitting at my PC to listen to books but I would make it work if necessary. I just don't understand what it's asking me to do under "Usage".

I asked Gemini to help me but it just repeated the instructions, haha!

Thank you in advance for helping me take the next step forward. I wish it was as simple as downloading and installing.

Your PC would be faster at converting text to audio files, which could then be copied to your phone. But if you want to do everything on your phone, check out "Termux" which will give you a Linux style command line and let you install python and all the required modules. Not sure if torch will use Vulkan by default on the S24 or if you'll be running on CPU, but should be doable.

sbeltz: Would you be willing to help me set it up on my PC? I can pay $50/hr and have to think it wouldn't take longer than an hour. I would really appreciate it if you can.
