bioGPT generates a period only for some words

when trying some words or phrases such as retina, optometry, diabetic eye disease, diabetic retinopathy, ... bioGPT generates nothing but a period (.). what is the reason for that? I think this language model should be able to generate text for a medical words or a phrases.
