Given that there is no config file, do you recommend any specific way of loading the pre-trained model?

No worries! I mainly put this together to help the HF team integrate Mega into the Transformers library (here's the link to that GitHub issue), so hopefully it will be useful for you as well in the meantime :)

For sure it has been useful! I was struggling to fine-tune a MEGA model for Sequence Classification with the original Github implementation, but with this implementation I have it already running in just a couple of hours, so thank you very much for your work 🚀
