Apply for community grant: Company project (gpu)
Dear Hugging Face Team,
My name is Denis Topallaj, and currently doing an internship at ML6. I am reaching out to apply for a community GPU grant for the space ml6team/ML6-UniKP.
UniKP is a cutting-edge framework designed to predict enzyme kinetic parameters, such as enzyme turnover number (kcat), Michaelis constant (Km), and catalytic efficiency (kcat / Km), solely from protein sequences and substrate structures.
Currently, UniKP does not have a dedicated website, public model, server, or API for making predictions. The project is operating on a CPU with a lightweight model and tokenizer. To enhance the capabilities of UniKP and facilitate collaboration among biotechnicians, I am seeking the support of a community A10G GPU.
By leveraging the power of a GPU, UniKP can implement a more robust model and tokenizer, significantly improving prediction accuracy and efficiency. This upgrade will not only elevate the performance of UniKP, but also enable the framework to attract and engage a broader community of biotechnicians, fostering innovation and advancements in enzyme kinetics research.
I believe that with the assistance of a community GPU, the space ml6team/ML6-UniKP can make significant strides in the field of enzyme kinetics and contribute to the scientific community at large. Your consideration of this grant application would be greatly appreciated.
