did great, I saw on their recorded stats. They were way faster than I.
Couldn't locate them on site, even though I had been looking all over for a chance to meet. The place was super-duper packed. I think close to 8,500 runners crossed the finish line, just for the 10k race.
The organization was flawless. It has been a very enjoyable event experience.
The running was, of course, really fun. The path was marvelous, running along historic Parisian canals and ending on the track of the Stade de France like real pros was something.
There were people cheering all along, which was really motivating. There were even music bands here and there, and I loved the percussion band for the last mile. Running to the rhythm of Afro-Brazilian Maracatu drums was a first for me. It felt transcendent, each step syncing with the beat, and I may do that again for my sparring sessions.
