I want to build an app using React Native but I have heard of Flutter. Which framework should I use?

Answer

There are a few things that you will need to consider before making your decision.
App size and storage. This can be crucial for some apps, especially when it comes to location-based services or social media apps.
Expectations from the user and market. Is there something special about your application that makes it more suited to either platform?
Development effort. For most developers, this is probably not going to matter too much since they’ll only do development once. But if you plan on maintaining these applications long term, then the development cost might play a factor in which one you choose.
In my experience, both platforms provide excellent results; however, I find myself preferring Flutter over React native due to the ease of development and additional features (such as hot reload) provided by Flutter.
My recommendation would be to pick whichever platform you feel like working with best based on what you think will work best for your particular project. If you don’t know where to start, try out each one yourself and see how well they suit your needs…
